Interested in joining the Lackawanna Ambulance team? Want to be a part of Northeastern Pennsylvania's premier ambulance service?  Because of our large and diverse area we are looking for employees to fill many different positions and shifts.

EMT's and Paramedics respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls.  This may include assisting various hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, care facilities and personal residences.  Our BLS and ALS ambulances are situated throughout Lackawanna County and are dispatched to various locations via Lackawanna County 911 (through GPS) and also for private line calls through our dispatch office.

Through the use of the GPS mapping system, EMTs and Paramedics may sit for prolonged periods of time with little or no activity.  This can change in the flash of a second and our employees may encounter periods of extreme physical and mental exertion.
