Lackawanna Ambulance, Inc. started operations August 4, 1998. Since then we have become Northeastern Pennsylvania's premier ambulance and wheelchair service.  Our headquarters is located in Lackawanna County in which a population of over 200,000 depend on our Emergent and Non-Emergent services covering an area of over 450 square miles.

Lackawanna Ambulance's tag "Compassionate Care...Hometown Values" is what our philosophy is based on.  We continue to grow based on this philosophy and believe that the greatest "secret to our success," was and will always be, our employees..

A special thanks goes out to the members of our strike team, EMT John Bein, EMT John Grady and NREMT-Paramedic Steve Warner. Recently, these members were deployed for 10 days, along with other organizations in association with EMSNP, to the Gulf Coast Region in preparation for the arrival of Hurricane Gustav. While in the Gulf States, they performed search and rescue missions as well as evacuated people, with special medical needs, from hospitals in and around New Orleans. Again, thank for your dedication and sacrifices to help others in need.
